Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1.Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how InvenLog ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform and services (the "Service"). We are committed to being transparent about our data practices and to giving you meaningful control over your information.

This policy applies to all users of the Service. For terms governing your use of the Service, please see our Terms of Service.

2.Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, organization details, and role you provide when registering or being invited to a workspace.

Usage data: activity within the Service such as login times, features used, and configuration choices that help us operate and improve the platform.

Customer data: the inventory records, catalog items, documents, and other business content you and your organization upload or create. This is your data — we process it only to provide the Service to you.

Technical data: device type, browser, and IP address collected automatically as necessary to secure and operate the Service.

Billing information: when you purchase a subscription, we collect billing name, address, and transaction details necessary to process payment and issue receipts. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.

3.How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
  • Process and store the Customer Data you submit within your workspace.
  • Send service notifications, alerts, and administrative communications.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4.Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Service — for example with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InvenLog, our users, or others.

Our trusted service providers include our payment processor, hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics and email delivery services. Each is bound by confidentiality and security obligations and may process data only to provide services on our behalf. A current list of key subprocessors is available on request.

5.Data Retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Customer Data is retained for the duration of your subscription and is deleted or de-identified after a defined grace period following account closure, except where retention is required by law.

6.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.Your Rights & Choices

You may access, correct, or update your account information through the Service. Administrators within your organization control access to Customer Data.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law (for example, under the CCPA).

To exercise any of these rights, contact your InvenLog account team or reach out through the in-app support channel. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8.International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for the transfer of personal data in accordance with applicable law.

9.Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
